i feel the pain

11.17.07 broken social scene @ the tla philadelphia.

i have seen the scenesters 4 separate times and each and every time they leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling. last night was no exception. keven drew and company rocked through a nice set of the old and the new and they even threw in some covers. most notably dinosaur jr’s ” i feel the pain” (which brought me back to high school), ryan adam’s “summer of 69″, an american analogue set tune, and a pavement song. overall this was a wonderful show, the only thing i could have asked for would have been a little female inclusion which there was none as metric, stars and feist are all on tour.
